Queensrÿche's 1984 studio album debut  The Warning  leans into a darker, more traditional heavy metal sound, built on sharp riffs and a steady, driving pace the band is classically known for. There's a sense of scale to it, with themes that feel bigger than the band's earlier work without losing focus.  The Warning  is heavy and direct, and it's always worth running back a few times.
